The Law Offices of Donald E. Green does more than provide legal services. We care about the people and the communities we serve. The Law Offices of Donald E. Green has developed a legacy of “giving back” to the community by providing a host of tangible and intangible services. We have a long history of providing free legal services to indigent persons.

Pro Bono activities at our office cover the range of public interest work from staffing free legal clinics after the close of business, to traveling outside of the community to advise and counsel smaller community groups on issues affecting their day-to-day lives. Outside of the courtroom, our lawyers also volunteer their time to publicly speak at inner city schools on the importance of education. In addition, we have offered the following special community events for many years:

The Annual Mother’s Day Acknowledgment
During the month of May, the Law Office honors Mothers by sponsoring a “Mother of the Year” contest open to the public. Hundreds of moving letters are written by family members and friends about a special mother. The office provides a day of total relaxation to the chosen Mother, complete with dinner, shopping and hotel accommodations.

The Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Give-Away
The Law Office enjoys the tradition of giving, especially during the Thanksgiving holiday. Over a dozen turkeys are presented with a grateful heart to tables of numerous families in and surrounding Boston.

The Annual Dream Christmas Give-Away
Christmas is the gift of giving. For the past nine years, the office has helped give families requiring assistance during the holiday season a Dream Christmas by providing them with gift certificates to buy presents and Christmas dinner.

Free Legal Service Clinics
Every month, our attorneys and staff volunteer their time and expertise counseling and providing free legal services to individuals who otherwise would have been denied access to the justice system. These free clinics are held on the first (1st ) and third (3rd) Wednesday of every month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in our Roxbury office.
